The Farmacia Stecchi just off the piazza is our go-to for sun burn, bug bites, or sore throats. It's more like a clinic and with skilled pharmacists who speak English.
The Pasticceria Ferruzzi Raffaello has super kind owners and a homey array of delightful pastries and groceries. We always get a warm welcome.
Greve's weekly market on the piazza is a delight to wander. We never miss it. Great affordable clothes, food, and an array of useful home goods.
At La Libreria la Formicola on the piazza, you can wander the winding den packed with books and toys. Some English books and lots of magical finds at this tiny gem of a shop.
Post Azione, Bar Sociale and Officina Creative (Social Bar and Creative Workshop) is not touristy and the perfect place to finish your travel writing blog.

It's impossible to eat at just one of Greve's restaurants! We've have the most local fun and delicious Tuscan pasta and pizza at Casa del Popolo.
Any road or path you follow out of Greve will take you into the heady Chianti countryside. The close-by medieval, walled hamlet of Montefioralle is our top destination.
